In seinen Soloperformances erforscht Hannes Lingens die akustischen Qualitäten seines Instrumentariums. Im Dialog mit dem jeweiligen Ort nimmt er das Publikum mit auf eine klangliche Erkundung der Instrumente und ihrer Resonanz im Raum.

Hannes Lingens (*1980 bei Hamburg) lebt als Musiker und Komponist in Berlin und Halle (Saale). Er bewegt sich mit Vorliebe in der Grauzone zwischen improvisierten und komponierten Formen experimenteller Musik. Als Schlagzeuger, Akkordeonist und Vibraphonist gehört er den Ensembles Obliq, Modèle Réduit und Die Hochstapler an und arbeitete mit Künstler*innen wie Peter Ablinger, Félicie Bazelaire, Johnny Chang, Sven-Åke Johansson, Toshi Nakamura, Olaf Rupp, Chiyoko Szlavnics, Takako Suzuki und John Tilbury zusammen. Er war Mitbegründer des Musikerkollektivs Umlaut Berlin und des Jazzkollektivs Halle. Seine Musik ist auf zahlreichen Veröffentlichungen dokumentiert und war auf Festivals wie Moers, Jazzfest Berlin, Météo Mulhouse und auf den Donaueschinger Musiktagen zu erleben.

Romane Bouffioux (she/her) is a percussionist, performer, improviser and composer based in Bern, Switzerland, specializing in contemporary music. She is particularly interested in creation, interdisciplinarity, and artistic collaboration in the field of contemporary and improvised music.                                                                           

In her solo works Romane is looking for sounds, movement, texture, rhythms in an organic way always exploring her instrumentarium which is endless. She likes resonated metal: cymbals, bowls, tam, gongŠ  as much as junk metal. She enjoy skins: snare drum, tenor drum, bass drum using different way of making them speak: scratching, brushing, hitting, vibrating Š

In my solo drum set performances, I treat the kit as an open landscape-an instrument of endless possibility rather than a fixed design. There's no script, no safety net-just sound, touch, and time unfolding in real motion. I'm drawn to the edges of rhythm, where pulse dissolves into texture and form emerges from chaos. Each performance begins as a question: what can the drums say tonight that they've never said before? I listen as much as I play, letting resonance, overtones, and silence shape the direction. The music can be explosive or whisper-quiet, abstract or grounded in pulse, but it always reflects the moment-my state of mind, the room, and the sound itself. I think of the drum set as both a physical and emotional instrument-something alive, unpredictable, and deeply human. My goal is to let the music invent itself, to find beauty in the moment where sound and intention meet, and to keep discovering new ways for rhythm to speak.
