Soul, Groove & explosive Spielfreude
Die Zürcher Künstlerin Leila Asmeg alias Betty Tuesday und ihre Band ordnen sich keinem fixen Genre zu. Sie spielen, worauf sie Lust haben, was sie spüren. Inspiration liefern ihnen dabei Sängerinnen wie Etta James, Aretha Franklin und Betty Davis. Gleichzeitig lebt die Musik der Band von virtuosen Gitarren- und Pianosolos, wie sie im Blues-Rock üblich sind. Live wie auch mit ihrem Debütalbum Maybe schafft die Band eine Atmosphäre, der man sich nicht entziehen kann. Wer gerne tanzt, wird Betty Tuesday lieben. Wer einfach nur gerne zuhört, ebenso.
