Das schlagzeuglose Lamarotte Swingtett ist mit den Stilen der 30er- bis 50er- Jahre bestens vertraut. Der Swingsound orientiert sich sowohl an den legendären schlagzeuglosen "Hot Mallets" von Isla Eckinger, als auch an innovativen Swingcombos wie den "Spirits of Rhythm" oder dem grossen Django Reinhardt.
