With “Meeting Point”, Israeli musician Eran Har Even – who now lives in the Netherlands – invites two of Europe’s most distinctive improvisers – pianist Pablo Held and drummer Ziv Ravitz – to engage in a musical dialogue shaped by years of artistic exchange. Held’s lyrical, sensitive playing perfectly complements Har Even’s rhythmic-melodic style, whether on guitar or electric bass. Ziv Ravitz, with his dynamic, at times funky beat, contributes significantly to the band’s infectious groove. Together, they create beautiful, atmospheric soundscapes based on wistful melodies, rich harmonies and flowing rhythms.
