The concert program corresponds to the CD of the same name "Au coeur des Alpes" with works and folk songs from Switzerland.

The Freiburg mezzo-soprano Marie-Claude Chappuis and her fellow musicians take us straight to the heart of the Alps. While she is otherwise at home on the opera stages of the world, the mezzo-soprano now sings folk songs from the most diverse regions of Switzerland. These are all arranged with a great deal of sensitivity for an ensemble that combines tradition and a richness of timbre. A wonderful musical journey awaits us with Ticino songs such as "Aveva gli occhi neri", the Guggisberg song and "Luegit vo Bärge und Tal" as well as numerous well-known and unknown French folk songs such as "Liauba" held in the Gruyere Patois or "Le vieux chalet". through Switzerland.
