SHED­DING ECHOES

The LGBTQ+ festival “Warmer Mai”, inseparably linked to Keller62 since its first edition in 2000, highly valued abroad and noticed throughout the German-speaking world, is taking place theatrically here again this year! We are very excited. A Groundbreaking Exploration of Identity and Acceptance. Keller62, in collaboration with Warmen Mai, is presenting a new dance production! A production that deals with the complex layers of the human experience, with a particular focus on issues relevant to the LGBTIQ+ community. Conceived and directed by former ballet dancer and later stage director Kevin Pouzou and choreographed by Lucas Valente, this special production uses dance as its primary form of expression and offers audiences an intimate and introspective journey into the depths of self-discovery and acceptance. “Shedding Echoes” goes beyond conventional discussions about the LGBTIQ+ community and instead illuminates universal aspects of human existence. This creative process is a collaborative endeavour based on research, shared dialogue and practical experimentation. Kevin Pouzou, Lucas Valente and the four dancers draw on personal experiences to challenge traditional notions of gender and movement expression.
