Opium - Musica Sequenza - Burak Özdemir, bassoon and direction
The world premiere of «Opium» explores musically and spatially new dimensions in our experience of music. As a work commissioned by the International Bach Festival, the concert is specially tailored to the spatial conditions of the former Halls for New Art in Schaffhausen's worsted west wing. The audience is given the opportunity not to experience the music sitting statically, but to discover it actively and dreamlike, walking through different rooms.
