Eleven positions of contemporary art
Angela Schulten, Jan Czerwinski, Andreas Thiele and Liv Jecklin work in their studios on the Arsenal site in Uster. For the exhibition, they have invited artists from the region as well as from all over German-speaking Switzerland who represent strong and stubborn positions. Paintings, spatial installations and sculptures can be seen.
On the one hand, the exhibition title COSMOSE associates the vastness of the artistic cosmos. There are many exciting nuances to be seen between accessing aspects of reality and improvising with form, material and colour. On the other hand, the sound of the word osmosis evokes the idea of a lively, reciprocal flow between artists. Where do the works relate to one another, even though they were created in different places?
