The Volcanic North (2017, GB, Nigel Marven)
Nigel Marven is travelling around the Philippine islands. He comes across the palm thief, the largest crustacean living on land in the world, which hides from the heat in small caves during the day. The McGregor's bamboo viper, which can only be found on the Batan Islands, also loves cool and damp conditions. The carabao is a subspecies of the water buffalo. Nigel also encounters unusual animals under water.
