In the Forests of Palawan (2017, GB, Nigel Marven)
The island of Palawan has magnificent limestone cliffs, caves and the longest navigable underground river in the world. The caves are particularly interesting for bird lovers. They are home to the Salangans, birds that can navigate in total darkness by making clicking noises. Their nests, which they build with saliva, are used to make swallow's nest soup, which is considered a delicacy.
