New Electronic Music Festival "AERO" at Bern-Belp Airport

In a month it's time. On August 19, 2023 it's time to check in for the first AERO Festival at Bern-Belp Airport. The plane takes off in the direction of an open-air dance mood and takes visitors into a world of the best electronic dance music. With the line-up of GHEIST, Edu Imbernon, Animal Trainer and many more. the organizers have big plans for the new one-day festival. In addition to music by international and national artists, there are refreshing drinks at three bars, and regional food trucks are responsible for the appropriate catering. A glitter stand provides the right festival vibes. The whole festival works cashless.

The first AERO Festival will take place on August 19, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in a section of Bern-Belp Airport not far from the runway. The unique location is easily accessible by public transport and shuttle buses run from Belp train station to the festival site, which bring visitors back to the train station in the evening. This service is included in the festival ticket.

You can only pay with the cashless card

For the first edition, the organizers relied entirely on a cashless solution. After the ticket check, the guests receive a cashless card, which can be topped up with all common means of payment. The card can be used to pay at all bars and food stands. This type of payment system was deliberately chosen to ensure a functioning and efficient system on the site at all times, which will contribute to a great festival experience.

Not only the DJs will inspire the guests with great music on this day, but also the catering offer knows how to convince. The menus feature momos, empanadas or pasta from regional food partners. In addition to the traditional meat dishes, the food trucks also offer vegetarian and vegan soul food. Three bars distributed on the premises, equipped with refreshing drinks, ensure that nobody goes home thirsty. Bringing your own food or drinks is not permitted. In addition to the great decorations, a glitter and merchandising stand ensures the right festival vibes throughout the site.

Another highlight will be the attractive VIP offer. For all VIP guests there is a fast-line entrance, a separate VIP area with a lounge area, access to the stage and a food stand with a bar.
