A path connects two places. Whoever leaves, on the other hand, leaves a place: this path leads away. Away and away, noun and adverb, spelled almost identically, pronounced differently. Artists are specialists in setting off. Moving away: Art is usually only good when it risks going astray. However, you don't always leave voluntarily. Anyone who leaves involuntarily will be pushed out. Economy and ecology, politics and religion are forces that can displace. They change. Artists work about repression and change - and are themselves repressed and change in the process. An exhibition with 13 artists from the Zurich region will be shown on these topics.
