Be­Jazz Win­ter­fes­ti­val: End­ers Room

Johannes Enders has been running a kind of laboratory called the Enders Room for years. Here he treads stylistic paths that move far beyond the aesthetics of jazz music and enable hypnotic electronic music in the midst of science fiction romance and analogue sound aesthetics. In the search for answers to the oldest questions of mankind, which in the current case also includes the relationship between man and machine, old and new companions support him: Germany's currently most exciting trumpeter Bastian Stein, Notwists vibraphonist Karl Ivar Refseth, and the Swiss Groove master Wolfgang Zwiauer on bass and Gregor Hilbe on drums and electronics. At the Winter Festival, they will be presenting «Hikikomori», the acoustic part of the recently released double album «Dear World/Hikikomori».
