Tinkering is the order of the day at HEK!
Under expert guidance, children and young people between the ages of 9 and 14 explore the world of digital design. At each appointment a new topic is explored and tried out. The participants take a look behind the scenes of the computer, learn to understand code, discover the creative potential of new technologies and practice a reflective approach to media content. Topic: Collaborative worldbuilding participants model their own 3D object for a game world. Together they create a BitFabrik universe in the game engine Roblox. Participants move around in it and bring it to life! The programming club takes place on one Saturday per month in two groups. The BitFabrik is led by the computer scientists and art educators Anna Flurina Kälin and Natalie Frei.
