The award-winning Luxembourgish trumpeter Daniel Migliosi is one of the most promising talents on the contemporary European jazz scene. With his quartet, he explores new musical frontiers – drawing inspiration from his role models and blending modern influences with an unmistakable personal touch. His runs are clearly articulated, at times virtuosic, yet never superficial; his sound is innovative, expressive and both fresh and deeply rooted in tradition. Simon Compté provides the accomplished counterpart and sensitively leads the themes in unison with Migliosi.
