With the melancholic melodies of Glaascats and the intense music of Beurre in the background, Darius, the group with three guitars, is organizing the opening of its new album "Murmuration" on April 27 at Fri-Son, released on Humus Records.

Darius' musical approach metaphorically evokes the lost art of castle building, a long-term project that requires the constant strength of the collective to come to fruition. Across albums and years, their wall of sound thickens, becoming more and more complex and finding its distinctive richness in the abstract.

Entitled "Murmuration", their new album is an impressive tower of noise-rock formed by imposing blocks of rough, almost mineral guitars, shaken forcefully by a feverish rhythm. Despite the tremors of the ground, the musical fortress holds firm. Recorded live by Amaury Sauvé at the Apiary Studio in Laval, this new opus highlights the know-how of the Friborg quintet in the creation of solid and lasting instrumental rock.

Butter

The more intense Beurre's music is, the more it envelops listeners with a feeling of softness. It is both powerful and desperate, acting as denunciation and redemption. The three members of the group, Chadi Messmer, Elischa Heller (Film 2) and Luc Hess (Coilguns), obsessively explore the dark aspects of existence through distorted sounds. Their performances, both simple and wild, sometimes fast then slowly unfolding, seek clarity while delving into the depths of the soul.

Glaascats

Melancholic melodies float in a personal and intimate space, creating a captivating bubble of sound. Around this sphere, a raw and incandescent energy manifests itself with a disturbing carelessness. These musicians, from various influences, form a fusion group, driven by their common passion for creativity.
