Although in 2013 we celebrated the 200th anniversary of this great composer's birth, we cannot let go of the emotions of his gigantic works, which to this day continue to be presented as vividly as if we were with him in his time.

He was very committed to his country. As early as 1842, the chorus "Va penserio" from the opera Nabucco became Italy's unofficial anthem. In 1874 Giuseppe Verdi was appointed Senator of Italy. In his music, Giuseppe Verdi shows us great love and at the same time tragedy in a brilliant way in depictions such as Violetta Valery from La traviata, Aida or Rigoletto. His works exude great passion and poetry, but also delight in humor and wit. Everything together finds its expression during this wonderful concert.
