Werke von Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart | Martina Jankovà, Sopran | Edoardo Torbianelli, Hammerflügel
Even a Mozart didn't fall from heaven. From his first symphony, composed at the tender age of eight, to the bravura vocal works of his late creative phase, the oeuvre of this outstanding composer also bears witness to a tremendous artistic development. How his incomparable musical intuition, which can already be felt and heard in his earliest works, appropriated almost all genres over the few years of his life and thereby became increasingly differentiated, can be heard in the polyphonic works of the season opening concert. Program: Symphony No. 1 in E flat major, KV 16 Allegro molto – Andante – Presto «Ch'io mi scordi di te», KV 505 Aria for soprano, obbligato piano and orchestra Adagio for English horn and orchestra in F major, KV 580 A “The Violet”, aria for soprano and piano, KV 476 Piano Concerto in G major, KV 453 Allegro – Andante – Allegretto – Presto
