Flo­ri­an Fav­re so­lo

For "Identitâ", which will be christened in the BeJazz Club, Florian Favre is inspired by pieces from Freiburg's cultural heritage and reinterprets them with the help of his faithful companion, the piano, and its diverse musical possibilities. They are stories of elves, mountains, exile and naïve beauty. At the same time, these stories about a beautiful country are deconstructed as a collective imagination, existing social values are questioned with a lot of humor and lightness. In his very personal reading of a collective imaginary world, Florian Favre considers such frozen traditions to be dead traditions and instead convinces us that their virtues lie in the pretext for social encounters – and thus in the possibility of creating a connection between each of us.
