Ge­ne­ra­tio­nal sin­ging weekend

Big and small, young and old, parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, gods and gods with godchildren … everyone is cordially invited! On Saturday we study swinging songs together: excerpts from the musical “Swingin’ Samson” by Michael Hurd, complex, humorous and rousing. Anyone from kindergarten age can sing along; even those who feel like they can't sing!

The songs are embedded in the narrative of the biblical story of Samson. We tell this story and the rehearsed songs and make music as part of the community service on Sunday morning.

What a hairstyle! Whether lion's mane, shaggy, curly or straight — Samson is a hairy story with very current references to the uniqueness and originality of our humanity. What gives me strength? What defines me? What am I committed to? And what is my own that I won't let be taken away from me?

Samson revolves around these questions and we want to be inspired by this adventurous story. There is a lot to discover and experience. Let yourself be surprised!

Children from the 3rd grade who would like to come alone are also welcome! Families where the older children are in kindergarten or school but the younger ones/a younger sibling are not yet are welcome to take part as a whole family.

Cost
The entire weekend including lunch on Saturday costs CHF 5 per child. and CHF 20 per adult.
