Growing up in a quiet suburb of Dunfermline, Jacob Alon learned to play the piano and guitar from his mother. Jacob's music is as intimate as it is shockingly introspective and characterized by a rare timelessness. The sound is dominated by powerful, haunting vocals, intricate guitar playing and painfully personal, poetic lyrics. Comparisons with Adrianne Lenker, Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright are not out of thin air. A discovery and a promise for the still young musical year of 2024.
