Li­na's lighthouse

Lina lives in the lighthouse by the sea, surrounded by seagulls, crabs and many other coastal animals. She feeds them, she sings to them and in the evenings they tell each other stories about Klabautermen and sea dragons. When a violent storm rages one night and destroys the beacon, Lina fears for the seagulls. Because without the light they cannot find their way to her. But Lina is not alone. Inspired by the reading, participants then look at a suitable work of art in the exhibition “Water, Clouds, Wind – Elemental and Weather Phenomena in Works from the Würth Collection” before the event is rounded off with a workshop in the art studio. Jonathan Stock's children's book, published in 2023, tells the story of the connection between Lina and her environment in sensitive language. Nini Alaska's illustrations bring the story to life in a very special way. Suitable for children aged 4 and over.
