«Marnie travels around various companies under a changing identity in order to live out her kleptomaniac needs. Her approach is always the same: she gets a job as a secretary, proves herself as an honest worker and then empties the company safe at the right moment. When her new boss Mark Rutland catches her red-handed, he forces her to become his wife so that he won't report her. Rutland's interest in the blonde, beautiful and ice-cold Marnie is made up of fetishistic admiration and the need, arising from his pathological affection, to psychoanalyze the cause of Marnie's 'habits'.
