In the June 2021 project, the orchestra from the lake, conducted by Dominic Limburg, will perform works by Fritz Stüssi, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Antonin Dvořák in a large symphonic cast.

The central concern of the Orchester vom See is the promotion of young professional musicians. In its concerts, it performs demanding works from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and tonal modern eras as well as works by the Wädenswil composer Fritz Stüssi (1874 – 1923) in high quality. The orchestra can look back on eleven years of successful concert activity throughout Switzerland.

The project from June 2021, which will contain works by Fritz Stüssi, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Antonin Dvořák in a large symphonic instrumentation, is also very much in this tradition. The soloist in Rachmaninoff's famous Piano Concerto No. 2 is the 18-year-old pianist Christian Staub. This young talent is effectively encouraged by these performances in a crucial phase of his career.
