Doug's neighbor Tim talks him into getting a water filter sales license for $1,000. Doug is thrilled with his new job and puts in a lot of effort. Carrie, on the other hand, is desperate to get her $1,000 back. Doug does his best to sell licenses to his friends, but of course he is completely unsuccessful. Eventually, Doug has to admit that he made a mistake.
