Monday, 7. March 2022

La Cappella, Bern

  • Stage

Finally POETRY SLAM in the Cappella again! Four slam poets compete in four disciplines and fight for the crown and the favor of the audience.

Be there when the Cappella is transformed into an Olympic stadium and the word athletes, storytellers, language acrobats and tongue twisters compete in four disciplines!

And these are the DISCIPLINES:

FREESTYLE/FREESTYLE/CLASSIC: Six minutes at leisure according to the classic slam rules (text/performance self-invented, no props, hardly any singing).

SPRINT/MANDATORY: Six minutes on a given topic.

RULE BREAK: Singing, playing an instrument, using a prop, and/or reading outside text for six minutes with permission.

MIXED DOUBLE: Two vs. two in a team.

In terms of content, everything is possible with a slam: whether stories, poems or instructions for use, whether razor-sharp punch lines or soft rhymes, whether performative behavioral problems or inhibited, whether to anger or to delight the gods in Olympus - everything has a place at this slam in the former chapel, as long as the formal rules of the respective discipline and the time limit are observed.

At the tenth Olympic Slam
on March 7th, 2022:

It is humor, sensitivity and aura. She has steady legs, groping piano fingers
and a mischievous look. She speaks fluently and tears everyone and everything
with. You think you can grasp it all at once, and then it overwhelms you
beyond, shows us the randomness of all striving and we laugh at their and
all human activity. Such sentences say nothing and are of little use, because
you just have to have experienced her and you just want to experience her again and again: Judith
Bach!

Of the slam poets, he is the youngest of the oldest. From the guitar plucks and
Songwriters, he's a Northeasterner. He writes odes to the tip. He
tells stories from the kitchen, or from his life, or both, because often
is it the same. He sings a hymn to the leek. And he has that
the only love song I know about «Züri», and he mixes it up
Irish melodies with the Sechseläuten March. After a few push-ups in the
Backstage he feels cocked like a crossbow and the nervousness sinks
himself tolerable. He likes the brave bookseller in Amriswil. From far away
and finally: Klaus Estermann!

Growing up in tranquil Chur, not always an easy fellow, since
wild, lively and interested. Roughly how he would describe his childhood
describe. And that's about how we love him as a Püntner slam poet. Long time
he wanted more: more work, more success and more burnout. mindfulness,
Tolerance and a healthy dose of courage to change got him out of the mess
and on the path of stagecraft. He loves you more than Michael Jackson and von
with all my heart: Jachen Wehrli!

She wanted a fresh artistic start and was sent to work from home. She
wanted to take off and was grounded. She wanted to play and got the red one
Map. For newcomers, the last eighteen months have been a very special one
total convulsion. She used the Corona timeout to completely escape from the
hospital clown to mature into a cabaret artist. Krishan Krone says of her:"
With her, I'm always curious to see in which construction site she's going to do everything next
tangled. Politics, white-tailed deer, kids, lettuce. But no matter where, it
It's going to be fun." We say: She's reaching for the stars, and you with it
watching is perfect fun: Nina Wägli!

Through the evening he leads
Man for happy Olympians and lax doping controls, the referee
for photo finishes and Solomon judgments: Christoph Simon.
