Judge Denise Grobman is shot in an underground car park and the perpetrator flees in her Porsche. The police initially assume that the purpose of the attack was to steal the car. They find the car, the seller - and finally the robber Danny Ward. He dies before Briscoe and Green can question him. But the testimony of his cousin and accomplice indicates that Danny was supposed to kill Denise Grobman. The investigators suspect her husband.
