Sam is shot during a gun battle with a cartel. The survivor, Miguel Reyes, reveals the name of the arms dealer he worked for: Spencer Williams, Mosley's ex, who kidnapped her son years ago. Mosley wants to send the team on a rescue mission to Mexico against Hetty's wishes. Deeks gets into a heated argument with Mosley and she fires him.
