Seit Abbies Tod wird Crane von Walters Männern in einem unterirdischen Gefängnis verhört. Es gelingt ihm, nach Washington zu fliehen. Beim Lincoln-Memorial treibt ein Dämon sein Unwesen und hat bereits den Homeland-Agenten Eric ermordet. Seine Kollegin Diana kann Crane gerade noch vor dem Tod bewahren. Die beiden ermitteln gemeinsam und bringen Unerwartetes über den Dämon in Erfahrung.
