SOLD OUT: OSO­MO – Full Moon Con­cert – Si­mon Bau­mann Deck­chair Con­cert

Given digitalization and the pace of our time, time and space for regeneration, inspiration and relaxation are becoming scarce goods, and stress often becomes a permanent condition. The Swiss drummer Simon Baumann, artist, musician, performer and producer picks up exactly this with his project OSOMO. However, it not only uses musical elements, but also creates multi-dimensional experiences and allows participants to take a break from our multi-option society. Guests can relax and engage in meditative compositions consisting of rhythmic overlays.

Simon Baumann, born in Friborg and currently living in Bern, is the winner of the Entr-Acte scholarship in Bern and has been on tour throughout Europe as Stephan Eicher's drummer since 2012. He works with John Armleder, Don Li, Mario Batkovic, Sirens of Lesbos, One Shot Orchestra, Bonaparte, Martin Suter, among others, and has performed at renowned festivals and locations, including Cirque National Bruxelles, Auditorium Stravinski Montreux Jazz Festival, Fondation van Gogh Arles. His diverse artistic work includes music productions for Marvin Gaye (Universal Music USA) and film music productions for Showtime & CBS Hollywood USA. He worked as a sound designer for Native Instruments Berlin and as a workshop lecturer for music students at the University of Music in Lucerne.

The exhibitions in the Paul Klee Center are open on May 5, 2023 until 6 p.m.

After the concert, the bar in the Schöngrün restaurant will be open for meet & Greet with the artist Simon Baumann.

From 11 p.m. individual participation in the full moon walk:

Length 2 km, duration 30 minutes, fitness level easy. Start and finish center Paul Klee.
