A train journey through Transylvania, known as the home of the vampire "Dracula" from Bram Stoker's novel of the same name, has a lot to offer. On the trail of Dracula from Arad, near the Hungarian border, to Simeria across the country: a disused narrow-gauge railway, a ghost station, an old railway workshop and the museum railway in Rosia Montana (in German: Goldbach).
