The eye lis­tens, the eye speaks - blue traf­fic light

At a time when we are surrounded by a flood of images, this artistic project by the Blaue Ampel group was created as an attempt to enable deeper communication. They use images as language and initiate dialogues between people. The focus is on listening to each other, listening with your eyes, so to speak: allowing the other person's image to affect you in all its complexity and experiencing its different levels.

The artists are then challenged to answer: to express their ideas, thoughts and emotions visually and to find a new image for them. In this way, the dialogues create creative connections across the traditional boundaries of language.

The exhibition presents the result of two years of intensive dialogues. The selection reflects the diversity of interpretations, styles and perspectives of the artists involved. In addition, visitors to the exhibition are invited to actively participate in the dialogue by reacting to the images on display and starting new dialogues.

The exhibition rooms thus become a place of lively exchange. “The eye listens, the eye speaks” invites you to discover and explore the language of images and create connections that go beyond words.
