A Genevan musician, Léo Tardin has performed all over the world at the head of Grand Pianoramax, and within various collaborations (Maria João, The Last Poets, etc.).
During the Covid period, he developed the idea of a musical and visual performance for which he produced both sound and graphic content. The goal is to create a poetic capsule in which the public can escape for a multi-sensory performance.
To do this, he creates illustrations with colored pencils, which constitute a series of vignettes with detailed plant motifs. These drawings are then projected on a large screen at various stages of their creation (stop-motion effect), via a set of pedals that Léo activates at the same time as he plays live on the Fender Rhodes, according to a narration specific to each painting.
The production of the (visual) content of this project benefited from the support of the City of Carouge, the Republic and Canton of Geneva and the EMA.
