The Wolf Dog Century is a fragmented adaptation of the play Sallinger by Bernard-Marie Koltès. A soldier wanders among the customers of a restaurant. The USA is on the eve of the Vietnam War, it will soon be mobilized. Faced with death, life impulses spring forth, often uncontrolled. There he goes into a bout of logorrhea to counter the urge to break the windows, jump out the window and run outside until someone crosses his path. Other characters join him: random passengers or relatives who try to put an end to the disturbance caused to other customers. All these voices are in search of the other. Together, they tell the story of the demand for love, the balance of power, the deserted streets, the perpetual quest for desire and identity. Cynical laughter and self-deprecation flirt with tears of blood and verbal violence.
