Guest: Paul Louis Meier — factories
The unmistakability of an artistic oeuvre is the result of intensive, long-term engagement with an artist's own themes and techniques. In the upcoming exhibition, two groups of works meet and enter into a dialogue. These are the latest pictures by Willi Müller (*1951) from his «picture chapters» Man, remote and hotel, where he devotes himself to everyday things. They are supported by the figurative sculptures of the Lucerne sculptor Paul Louis Meier (*1950), who has been dedicated to the subject of people since his early artistic beginnings.
Painters and sculptors, paintings and sculpture, objects and abstracts, work and work provide insights into the possibilities and limits of the respective genre as well as into the individual form of expression.
The exhibition lasts until June 15, 2024
