Alentejo (2016, D, Ivonne Salo)
In the Portuguese region of Alentejo, south of Lisbon, Pedro, his wife Paula and his daughter Joana prepare a traditional bread soup with wild herbs. The main course is called Migas à Alentejana and is a delicate pork dish. For dessert there is Toucinho do Céu, a moist almond cake with icing sugar and Sericaia, an egg dish with cinnamon and wild bee honey.
